im testing this new blog.......so this is going to be really pointless to read.

usually i write post bout some issues involving myself, but this time, i got an idea after watching a video on youtube.....it was something about equality.....which i think i had previously mentioned in my blog in friendster. but that was about sexuality, this is about the right to express one's idea.

i said ideas, not perceptions, because i feel that religions are ideas. im not exactly an atheist, nor am i pious enough to thank god for being alive. the other day, i saw two videos, one about a debate whether god does or does not exist, which was a complete waste of time, and the other was about freedom of speech.

i was actually looking for debating styles, but the good ones were too little and too short. but lets skip that, and go to the main issue here, the one that really caught my attention. what do you think about the freedom of speech, or rather the right to express your beliefs.........do you think you deserve them, do you think everyone deserve them? if you do, then great, we think alike, but that is just something we humans can never accomplish.

why? its plain simple. lets say there a three guys in a room, each with a different religion, having a chat....they wont be arguing about who's god is real....rite? a group of people with different religion can live without trying to prove their religion is the "true way". then if i were to walk in and claim "god does not exist", most likely they'll stare at me, should they have enough tolerance to not beat me to death. in bolehland, you have to believe in god to have a mykad. its in our rukun negara, the very first rukun negara. so while a muslim, a buddhist, a hindu or a christian, or any form of religion is accepted by society, but i fare atheism the otherwise. somehow, atheism is one of the rare things that can get a whole bunch of religious people to team up and criticise whole heartedly.....it brings unity to this world that has so many religion....if it werent there, they have to fight amongst themselves, and that would be more tragic, considering they only made up almost 12% of the world's population.

so atheists cant actually express their belief.....or non-belief to the public, but hey, the rest are displaying their's just fine.....they have public holidays too. and thats when it comes down to equality......how can one person display their belief, and the other cant? is their belief, whatever it is, should be respected like others. the video i saw said something about a debate whether religious items should be allowed in public....which was perfectly ok, until the question popped in, "what about the atheists?". so while the whole wolrd can be proud of their religion, 12% of them are supposed to just sit quiet and say nothing to defend their belief?

the big question is "should they?" if they dont, all that talk about equality would be nothing more than trash and that just shows that the majority have the upmost importance compared to the minority. if they do, then its gona be a controversial fight to the have the right to be treated equally. but guess what, that wont happen either, they'll never have permission the bring up the issue as long as the government consist of people who think only they are right and they know what is best for the world. and look at us now........slowly eroding with the planet!

as far as i know, there will never be an answer for everything. the question about god's existence will be debated as long as man exist, the question of equality will never have the real answer until we all are one...no more countries, no more religions, just humans and nothing that separates us from one another. perhaps the only solution to everything is up to oneself. if you cant give an accepted answer for the whole world, at least answer your own doubts and uncertainties. every man for himself, and that would make the wolrd a better place, because so far, he who claims to know whats best for others, only gains for himself, while the rest suffer.
