i won't bother translating that into english because it might sound less stupid that way, or maybe it's the other way round.
that statement is :
1. a fallacy, not analogy. it does not reflect the truth. let's put it into a context of a nation. is it to imply that the malays own this country? is it to imply that other races are simply "menumpang"? are they immigrants despite being born in this country? last time i check, that bullshit is not in the constitution.
2. contradicting itself. it is questioning ah chong's and muthu's rights of ownership on the proton saga but at the same time, it does not verify it that the car belongs to the driver in the first place. being a driver doesn't mean you own the car, the same way a pilot doesn't own an airplane. you just bloody drive. it could be even ah chong's car and he lets the dude drive.
3. FUBAR! (watch saving private ryan)

probably not related to the post, and im not being a racist, but lemme ask u a question: do u trust the chinese to run this country? if u have the power to decide which race is going to rule this country, which race would u pick? think 'singapore".
why does it have to boil down to race. did obama win because he was black or because he was capable?
singapore isnt exactly a role model, i know. but our corruption is way worse than them. on top of that, we have the sultans and agong which doesn't really do any work.
if i really have to answer your question, i'd say someone who is mixed. i know a few who'd make a good candidate.
Ok, I'm a Chinese and probably I'm not really in a good position to comment on who is fit to be the PM of this country because of possible biasness. But Danny, you're becoming discriminative here. You pick the best persons to be placed in the top positions, regardless of what colour, creed or religion he is. And regardless of whether you are prejudiced against his race, which is probably unfounded.
@Sapphire Dragon: I absolutely agree that we have to select our leader based on his capabilites, not his skin colour or religion. And I believe that the future leader of this country could be of any race. And i wouldnt mind that. but given the current situation, where racism is at its peak, and every race is only supporting their own kind, i just would like to point out that the current leadership and the situation in this country would not be of much difference, no matter what race the PM is, be it Malay, Chinese, Indian, etc. what im trying to say is, giving the power to the chinese, or indians, or malay, or any race for that matter, will not, in any way, reduce racism. it will satisfy one race, but it will anger another. just like what we're currently facing. i do hope u get what im trying to say. what im trying to say is, there's something that needs to be done, but simply giving the power to another race is no way to solve the problem. once our soil is no longer polluted by racism, i believe that any race can be the PM, as long as he's capable. hmm... i dont seem to make any sense, do i? oh hell, im getting out of topic. will ISA detain me for 7 years for this?
@Ben: yeah, a mixed pm would probably be better. hey, mahathir was mixed, and the country was sorta allright when he was the pm. at least better than it is now. if u read his book, u'd get a much better understanding of the current situation in our country. and u'd realize that he was once a very brilliant man. dunno why he's a bit emo lately though.
i've been friends with a lot of races, and i strongly believe that our current generation, our friends, no matter what race, would make great leaders. they would treat all citizens fairly. but the problem is, brilliant minds arent usually into politics. and that's probably why we're stuck in this situation. maybe one of us needs to be the future PM? if u do become one, please oh please, remove all the stupid taxes imposed when we're buying a car. i couldnt care less about the subsequent rise in oil price. i dont care if my Camaro doesnt have fuel to run, but at least i HAVE a camaro! hell yeah!
danny : still, who could forget mahathir's abuse of ISA and the day he cried on national television and his impose of tax on imported cars to bring up proton. hahaha.
by the way sapphire dragon (can i just call u SD for short?), i dont mind if u'll become the next PM. cos i have sort of a rough idea of what sort of person u are, and i believe that people like u will bring change to our country. a good change. please get urself involved in politics. i just cant stand the current line of politicians and all of their bullshits. and their wives as well. (Ben, u should know who am i talking about). maybe u can be the deputy PM, working for Ben.
and by the way, im dead serious regarding the tax thingy. make sure we can buy American muscle cars at Proton Saga's price once u guys become the leaders. and by the way, im a mix chinese-malay.
damn, u just reminded me of the scene of his resignation... that was fucking epic. we should submit the video to the oscars. imagine the first PM to win the oscars. "dah lama dah... huhu..."
oh wait, he was the one who imposed tax on imported cars? damn... im gonna burn his books...
After reading this -

and the analogy that you just posted, I have the sudden urge to take a gun and shoot myself in the head. Period.
danny : and he is responsible for your steering wheel going haywire too. heh
karmen : you're lucky you are on the other side.
